Design Team Intros - Part two

I am so excited to share with our followers the rest of our new design team members!  Please welcome:

Hi! My name is Crystal. I live in central Pennsylvania. I am a mom to one boy, a wife, and a full time counselor/advocate. I love to create and have always crafted in some form or another throughout my entire life. I have been scrapbooking in the form we think of it today since about 2002. I do a mix of paper, hybrid, and digital scrapping with a little bit of art journal influence thrown in sometimes. I love to use sketches as my starting points—although sometimes I go off in my very own direction and my final result has little in common with the sketch inspiration. I am an online scrap class junkie. I’m always on the lookout for new techniques to try, ways to approach scrapping, or just new forms of inspiration.

My name is Mandi. I am twenty-three years old and live in Michigan with my parents, brother and a spoiled dog. I have been crafting for as long as I can remember but really got into it when I was teen. That is when my dad was getting me more into paper crafting. I am sure he didn't realize what a large stash accumulating over the years. I was thirteen when I put together my first scrapbook together and the subject was a tiny, little, fur ball, name Buster. I love to make scrapbook pages, cards and altered items. Besides crafting, I love to spend time cooking and spending time with my family.
Please visit Mandi's blog, The Kraze of MJ, for loads of inspiration.

Hello, my name is Lynette Jacobs. I live in Port Elizabeth on the east coast of South Africa.  I have been married to Kobus for the past 33 years and we have three grown children.  We have been blessed with six beautiful grandchildren who are also the subject of most of my scrapping. My husband and I founded a non-profit organization that provides for the needs of nearly 600 homeless and poor people whom we house at the Mission.  This work is very stressful and emotional and scrapbooking provides me with much needed stress-relief.  I started scrapbooking in 2005 and was instantly hooked.  I love that my hobby can give me so much pleasure and at the same time create a legacy for my children and grandchildren. Until recently I preferred doing only layouts that can be slipped into my albums.  I have now developed a love for mini albums as gifts to my love ones and also love making handmade cards.  To see more of Lynette's work visit her blog, A Work in Progress.
