Welcome to our first sketch for the month of September!  Are you getting ready for fall?  I think this would be a great sketch to scrap some of your back to school pics or maybe some pics of that family trip to the pumpkin patch!  We have lots of inspiration for you this month, we have teamed up with the DT for Paper Secrets, our sponsor for this month to bring you their interpretation of the sketch. August Winner and Featured Scrapper!

Ladies, I was so inspired by all the talent on our blog this month!  Each month I am amazed at all the lovely entries you gals share with us!  Thanks so much for playing along each month with Sketch N Scrap & making it such a fun & inspiring place to spend a little bit of your scrappy day!   This month's Featured Scrapper used Sketch #14 and did an awesome job showing off her daughter's dance recital photo.  We loved the colors, so bright & vivid in this layout with the emphasis on one central large photo just like the sketch! The banner was another lovely touch on this awesome layout!   Congrats to Andrea, our August Featured Scrapper!  Don't forget to pick up your Featured Scrapper button for your blog Andrea!  Hop on over to Andrea's blog to see some more of her wonderful work!

Announcing our first ever Guest Designer!

Our team here at Sketch N Scrap was so excited by the response to our FIRST EVER Guest Designer contest!  What gorgeous entries!  You ladies outdid yourselves!  I enjoyed seeing each creation and I was inspired by each of you.  You ladies made our job extremely hard, but without further ado it is with great excitement that we announce that MARTINE is our September Guest Designer!!!!!

Guest Designer Contest!

Welcome to our FIRST EVER Guest Designer contest!  We are so excited to have a Guest Designer join us in September!  Here is what you will need to do to be considered for our Guest Designer spot:  1) Create a layout based on the sketch below and  2) Link up your layout by August 20th at 5 pm PST  Easy Peasy right?  The winner will be chosen by our current DT and announced on August 21st.  If you are chosen you will then be emailed our two September sketches along with the deadlines for submitting the layouts based on the September sketches.  Our Guest Designer will have until August 31st to create the first layout and September 14th to create their second layout.  Please only apply if you can meet these deadlines.  Any questions just email us at sketchnscrap@gmail.com
