Now let's keep the celebration going by announcing our Featured Layout and Card designers for the month of September. First, the September Featured Layout designer!  This month our DT picked Denise Luscan! Here is the layout she submitted -

My name is Kaoru Kyomoto, and I live in Nara, Japan with my husband and two children.

I am known by the on-line name "bird".

I started scrap booking in 2007 and I've loved it ever since. I love creating scrapbooks documenting my children’s lives.

I am very excited to be a October Layout Guest Designer at Sketch-N-Scrap as its one of my favorite sketch sites.

September Card Guest Designer

Please join me in welcoming our September Card Guest Designer, Susan Renshaw 

 I have been a crafty lady all my life - but these days I think I am
addicted! It is hard to stop me adding to my stash, or trying a new
technique, or just playing with my favorite things! I am a mother of 4 and
grandmother of 3  - my three sons and grandchildren live in Australia, so I
am a frequent visitor there. My daughter lives in the UK and that is where I
am at the moment. Fifteen years ago, my husband and I left the UK and became
expats, living first in Australia, then Hong Kong, then Abu Dhabi - we have
recently left there and are about to set off on a new adventure! Because I
have followed my husband's work, my jobs have been many and varied - but I
retired (again) from teaching last year. I am happy wherever we are as long
as I have my craft room!!

And check out this beautiful card Susan made based off of the September 5th sketch. I love the monochromatic look, with the just the subtle hints of white and yellow.
