Welcome to our new card designers!

I know you are excited to meet our other three card designers.  They are already hard at work making some lovely cards to showcase for you on our May 5th reveal, so make sure and check back on May 5th to see our first ever card sketch and card reveal!  Without further ado, please join me in welcoming:
My name is Rachelle. I am a mother to 2 grown sons; 20 and 35 and grandmother to 2 beautiful grandchildren.  I was a 6th grade teacher for 7 years.  I am so honored and excited to become apart of this team.   A big thanks for selecting me.  I am wheelchair bound all day and keeping busy was my goal.  I started scrapbooking in 2008 when I viewed a friends work. My passion quickly turned into addiction for this type of artistry and I never looked back.  I am very passionate of this hobby. It's not just about creating albums but it is a work of art. I love taking pictures to use to document life. Thus, here I am today enjoying my passion as therapy and inspiration to others. Now that I am wheelchair bound, each day is filled with being inspired, creating, providing inspiration through my work and treasuring the memories. I am so addicted to the art of paper craftingMy obsession has expanded since 2009 for creating cards, altered art, and canvas artwork. I love using elegant and fun elements.Yes, I do send out a few cards. My style has been described as detailed, beautiful, and multifaceted. My greatest strength is attention to detail. I pay close attention to my design and elements I select for each project. I'm big into journaling. I like to take the viewer on a visual journey of my designs.

Welcome to our New Card Designers!

A HUGE thank you to all the talented ladies that applied for our Card Designer spots! We wish we could find a spot for everyone, you were all so talented and made it a very hard decision! If you didn't get picked this round, please consider trying out on our next call.  Please give a BIG Sketch N Scrap welcome to three of our six new card designers:
Hi I’m Hillary, I live in Oklahoma with my husband and two dogs. I have always loved papercrafting. I learned how to scrapbook from my mother and her sisters and put together many scrapbooks in my junior high and high school years. A few years ago I ventured into making cards and I haven’t looked back since! I’m very blessed to have a husband who is so supportive of my hobby. He let me take over half of the office and always has nice things to say when I show him my creations. You can check out my personal blog over at   inkandpapercards.blogspot.com

My name is Stephanie and I live in beautiful Vancouver, Canada with my amazing husband. I've been scrapbooking and making cards for 10+ years and love preserving my memories in such a creative way. My husband and I are newlyweds and our everyday life together as Mr. & Mrs. is definitely my favorite thing to scrapbook! As for cards, I'm a "just because" kinda girl and love coming up with cards that can be used for any occasion. I'm absolutely addicted to stamps, both clear/acrylic and rubber wood-mounted, and they almost always find their way onto my projects. When I'm not busy getting ink all over my hands and glitter in my hair, some of my favorite things to do are reading good books in nearby coffee shops, going on spontaneous road trips and spending quality time with the people I love. You can view more of Stephanie's work on her blog, SKYLINE PAPERIE

RIA:

Hello everyone. I'm so thrilled to be part of the Sketch N Scrap Design Team! I’m Ria Montefalcon, a mom to KC and aunt to Abiel and Aidan. Philippines is my home country but I currently live in a small city yet my home for a couple of years now, Doha, Qatar. I’m a marketing professional by day and a happy crafter by night. I have loved arts and craft ever since I was a little girl, from a handmade card for grandma, stamping with coloring, to even sewing dresses for my little dolls.

My style is clean and simple. I love to play with patterned papers, stamps and  try techniques I haven’t done before. I also love sewing so you will see some of my sewn crafts and needleworks at my blog. So happy to share my works with you all.
You can visit me at www.heartforhandmade.com
Please welcome these talented ladies to Sketch N Scrap!  Check back tomorrow to learn more about our last 3 card designers!
